Queen's Wreath, also known as Purple Wreath or Sandpaper Vine, is a tropical, woody, twining vine or shrub known for its profuse, cascading, star-shaped purple flowers. The flowers are actually small and purple, but the showy, petal-like calyx lobes persist long after the flowers fall, remaining a beautiful purple color.  This vine flowers year round.  It likes full sun to partial shade and needs a fence, wall, or trellis to support it if you do not prune it regularly into a shurb.
