Jatropha is a genus of flowering plants in the spurge family, known for its drought tolerance and various uses, including biofuel production and traditional medicine. Jatropha plants can be shrubs or small trees taking the shape you prune them and growing up to 20 ft tall.  They flower year round and are a great nectar source for hummingbirds and butterflies.
