Aloe vera is a succulent plant known for its thick, fleshy, green-to-grey leaves with serrated edges, often spotted with white. It stores water in its leaves, which contain a gel-like substance with medicinal and cosmetic properties. The plant typically forms a rosette shape and can grow to be 1-2 feet tall. This drought tolerant plant can be grown without irrigation.
